Older adults and new technology use: 50^
For my research topic, I will be analyzing the uses of new technologies by older adults. For this research, I will discuss how older adults are adjusting to the new technologies developing every day and how they apply it to their everyday lives. In my research, it will conclude the use of, social media, smartphones, live streaming, ebooks, blogs, pandora, etc. I will research how these new technologies are managed by older adults, and if it difficult for them to learn, easy for them to catch up on, or if they avoid it entirely-- which technological choices do they make to fit in with modern times.

What age range are planning to used? people older than 30 or still in their twenties? If you were to compare and contrast the difference between certain groups when using social media will give a greater idea into the difference and what different generations considered important. i.e Baby baby boomers
ReplyDeleteI agree with Madeline as to the age range will make the topic a little more interesting. As for people still in their twenties, they have grown up with this technology so their perspective and usage will probably be completely different. I personally know and have heard stories of adults in their forties that don't even know how to make an email.
ReplyDeleteages 50 and up
